李伍久，白族，1938年9月5日生，云南剑川梅园人。1959年中师毕业，1982年经云南师大函授学习获大专学历。为中共党员，中学高级教师。一生支边怒江从事教育、教研工作，先后荣获云南省“先进教育工作者”“先进教研究工作者”荣誉称号。1994年荣获云南省省委宣传部和妇联共同颁发的“美好家庭”荣誉称号。从小喜文乐艺，教学之余，有新诗、詩词、散文、童话、歌曲、歌舞、教研论文、家教文论等多种作品问世，并多有获奖与出版。出版有新詩集《边陲横笛》《岁月之声》《新时代放歌》，散文集《面对生活》《片马之歌》，詩词集《古琴新曲》。其中，《岁月之声》《新时代放歌》《面对生活》曾经获奖。为中国少数民族作家学会会员，云南省作协、书协会员，文化部ISC2000认证艺术家，中国詩词学会名誉主席，中南海詩书画院名誉院长。1995年退休。退休后，由于医疗事故引起耳鸣严重，才开始专心于书画创作，用不断参展参赛的办法检验自己的水平。由于从小的爱好有点基础，在参展参赛中不断获奖，中国文联颁发了“国家级书法家”证书，先后荣获“詩词名家”“国家一级艺术大师”“国礼特供艺术家”“共和国人民艺术家”“中国泰斗级文艺家”“国家宝藏级文艺家”“人民艺术家最高成就奖”“联合国和平艺术家”“联合国和平书画院终身院士”“联合国教科文组织艺术顾问”“全国高层次文艺大师”“国家优秀文艺人才”等荣誉称号，被录入全国高层次艺术人才库，成了“国家战略储备人才”。作品被邀请入编了《中国书法全集》《新中国书法家选集》《中国国魂艺术大家》《十全十美艺术家》《中国书画艺术金奖作者风采》《当代国艺圣手》《非物质文化遗产·国礼特供艺术家》《百年经典·中国书法全集》《中国书法篆书大典·篆书宗师八大家》《中国美术史》（个人集）《新中国十位最伟大艺术家》等典籍。被中国书法家协会孙晓云主席评论为“他是继王羲之、颜真卿之后在中国书法史上最具影响深远的大师，堪称艺坛巨匠，千古一人”。2020、2022、2023年三次有书法作品随习主席的重要图文入编贺岁台历，传遍海内外，不胜荣幸。
